Director of Missions: Chris Smith
Chris came to the Florence Baptist Association in June of 2012. He, Tracy his wife, and children: Drew, Maggie, and Olivia moved from Rockingham NC where Chris had been pastor of the Roberdel Baptist Church since 2005. Prior to Roberdel he served as Pastor of Harmony Baptist Church Elgin, SC for over nine years and Mt. Zion Baptist Church in St. George, SC for over 7. Chris was raised in Ravenel, SC where his Father was a Southern Baptist Pastor. After graduation from High School, Chris graduated from Baptist College at Charleston, (presently Charleston Southern University) with a BA in Religion. He also received his Master of Divinity Degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest NC.

Mission & Ministry Development Director: Louanne Stewart
Louanne has served with the Florence Baptist Association since January 2, 1999.  Louanne and her husband, Eddie, have two grown children and 4 granddaughters – Wes (wife, Jessica; daughter, Charlie) and Jessie (husband, Daniel; daughters, Allie, Lydia, and Hadley). Since moving to Florence in October 1994 they have served at Unity Baptist, Elim Baptist and Calvary Baptist Church where Eddie currently serves as Associate Pastor of Education and Outreach.  In 2007 they were appointed as missionaries with the North American Mission Board.
 
Louanne grew up in Fountain Inn SC.  After graduating from Hillcrest High School she received a BS in Elementary Education from Baptist College at Charleston (currently Charleston Southern University) and a Masters in Religious Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Ministry Assistant: Connie George
Connie has served with the Florence Baptist Association since June 1994.  Connie and her husband, David, have two grown children – Andrew and Carley (husband, Tyler). Connie and David also have six grandchildren, Anna, Jack, June,  Levi, Piper and Elizabeth. David is currently serving as bi-vocational pastor at Cartersville Baptist Church, Timmonsville.
